Botanical Excursions

1) Study tour of B.Sc. II students was organized to Salbardi and Bhivkundi on 7th Dec.  2009.

2) Study tour of B.Sc. I students was organized to Gavhankund and Sekhadari Dam on 1st  Dec.2009.

Every year the department forms the “Botanical Association”.  After formation and selection of the members the department organize various programs like seminars for the students on regular basis throughout the year.  The elected student members of the association work hard constantly for the success of the tasks undertaken.  The faculties help them from time to time in finsihing the tasks. Botanical Association of the students formed for the session 2009-10  performed various activities of Botany Dept. The Association was inaugurated by Dr. S. R. Manik, Professor & Head, Dept. of Botany, SGB Amravati University, Amravati on 8th Dec. 2009.

The botanical association of the department organize guest lectures and extension activities. The students take active part in all the activities to make it successful.
